Suburb Profiles
Short guides to the suburbs where KPR sells, written by our own team rather than pulled from a data feed. We add a suburb when we start selling in it, so this list grows with the business. Each profile links to the history of its suburb, and you can read them all on our suburb history page.
- Applecross. Swan River frontage, the Ardross Street village and a station at Canning Bridge.
- Balcatta. Family housing on generous blocks with commercial and retail close at hand.
- Bayswater. River frontage, the King William Street village and a well connected station.
- Beckenham. A quiet south eastern suburb with parkland, the Canning River and a station.
- Churchlands. Large modern houses, Herdsman Lake and a well regarded school catchment.
- Cloverdale. Accessible family housing minutes from the airport and the river.
- Como. River frontage, the Preston Street strip and quick access to the city and Curtin.
- Crawley. The university suburb, on the river between Kings Park and Matilda Bay.
- Dalkeith. One of Perth’s premier riverside addresses, with the Waratah Avenue village at its centre.
- Dianella. Generous family blocks, mature streets and a strong local shopping centre.
- East Perth. Riverside apartments around Claisebrook Cove, with the CBD, Optus Stadium and Queens Gardens all close.
- East Victoria Park. The Albany Highway eating strip, character houses and easy access to the city and Curtin.
- Glendalough. Units and post-war houses between Galup and Herdsman Lake, with a station on the Yanchep Line.
- Highgate. Hyde Park at one end, Beaufort Street through the middle, and character houses on quiet streets between.
- Huntingdale. A quiet family suburb in the south east with parks and generous blocks.
- Joondanna. Post-war houses, townhouses and villas in a quiet inner north suburb.
- Leederville. The Oxford Street village, character houses and townhouses, and a station minutes from the city.
- Maylands. A Swan River peninsula suburb with art deco apartments, a village cafe strip and riverside parkland.
- Midland. A major transport and services hub at the gateway to the Swan Valley.
- Morley. Generous family blocks, the Galleria, and a suburb reshaped by the new Ellenbrook train line.
- Mount Hawthorn. Inter-war character houses, the Scarborough Beach Road village and an easy run into the city.
- Mount Lawley. Character houses, tree-lined streets and the Beaufort Street strip, in one of Perth’s most established inner suburbs.
- North Perth. Character cottages, the Angove Street village and an easy run into the city.
- Northbridge. Perth’s dining and cultural quarter, with the Cultural Centre and apartment living on the CBD’s doorstep.
- Osborne Park. A major commercial hub with housing alongside and Herdsman Lake on the doorstep.
- Perth. City living in the 6000 postcode, with the river, Kings Park and every transport line on the doorstep.
- Shenton Park. Federation and inter-war character, Lake Jualbup, and two train lines at the station.
- South Perth. River frontage, the ferry to the city, Perth Zoo and one of the best skyline outlooks in Perth.
- Subiaco. Rokeby Road, character houses on leafy streets, and a train straight into the city.
- Tuart Hill. An affordable inner north suburb with good blocks and quick access to the city.
- Wembley. Established houses, the Cambridge Street strip and lakes on both sides, halfway between the city and the coast.
- West Leederville. Character houses, the Cambridge Street strip and a station on the doorstep.
- West Perth. Kings Park on one side, the CBD on the other, and apartments between the two.
- Yokine. Post-war houses, villas and units around a golf course and Yokine Reserve.
