Lake Monger lies on the eastern edge and Herdsman Lake to the north, both with walking paths and birdlife. Bold Park, Perry Lakes and the Wembley Sports Park are close by, and the City Beach coastline is a straightforward drive west.
Getting around
Bus routes run along Cambridge Street and Grantham Street into the city, and the Mitchell Freeway and Powis Street give quick road access north and into town.
