North Perth
North Perth sits just north of the city, between Mount Hawthorn and Highgate. It is an established suburb of character housing with a genuine village feel at its centre.
The housing
Federation cottages, workers cottages and bungalows dominate, many of them renovated, with apartments and townhouses along the main roads. Streets are narrow and leafy, which is a large part of why buyers seek it out.

Angove Street is the local village strip, with cafes, restaurants and small businesses that trade on neighbourhood custom rather than passing traffic. Fitzgerald Street and Charles Street carry the larger shops and services.
Getting around
Bus routes along Fitzgerald Street and Charles Street run straight into the city, and the CBD is only a short drive.
